Iced latte from Mudspot in the East Village

Favorites 💕

Maman

Location: Lots throughout the city (I love the one on Hudson)

Excellent iced coffee and pastries. Try their oprah’s favorite brownie. It’s incredible. Super cute place for a breakfast date sort of dealio.

The Coffee Project

Location: A couple of locations (I went to East Village)

Lovely iced latte. Apparently they offer barista classes which is cool. Their coffee just tasted so good I don’t know what it was about it but it wasn’t too bitter or too sweet.

Mudspot

Location: East Village

There’s almost always a line on the weekends for brunch but SUCH a cute brunch spot. They have the best service and I love all of their lattes. The food is also well seasoned and hearty.

All The Kings Cafe

Location: East Village

A very no frills cafe near Tompkins Square Park. I really like their lattes and the service there is also always so good.

Porto Rico

Location: East & West Village

Ok Porto Rico is a bit stressful because they don’t have a very explicit menu posted anywhere but their coffee tastes so good. There are people who come from all over New York just for their beans which you can buy at the store.

Middle Tier ☕

787

Location: A couple of locations (I went to East Village)

Definitely a good coffee experience. They are always super friendly in there and the coffee is always consistent. They have a lot of options and it’s always a busy working coffee shop vibe in there.

Boris & Horton

Location: East Village

This is actually a dog cafe. You can go in with your dogs so it’s fun to sit and observe the doggos in there. The coffee is pretty good, nothing to write home about.

Blank Street

Location: A couple of locations (I went to East Village)

Another no frills coffee shop. Their iced latte was actually pretty good. There’s no place to sit inside there, but the service was very friendly and I would totally go back. It’s also right in front of Tompkins so it is very convenient.

Cute Vibes ☺️

Elsewhere Espresso

Location: East Village

The vibes in here were SO cute. I want to come back here one day to do some work. It felt so warm and cozy. Iced latte was also excellent. I almost exclusively get iced lattes/cold coffee no matter what time of the year it is.

Kolkata Chai Co.

Location: East Village

I was so excited to go here and I was definitely not disappointed. A very cute Indian chai shop. I wish I liked chai more because there are so many options here. I ended up getting the filter coffee which I really enjoyed.

Bar Pisellino

Location: West Village

One of the cutest cafes in the West Village. They also have drinks at night. This might be the closest you’ll get to a true Italian cafe in the United States.

Abraço

Location: East Village

I wish they had the inside of their cafe open, because it’s so cute. The coffee here was very strong and had that bitter taste. They also didn’t have oat milk, which was unfortunate.

Chains I Like

La Colómbe

Location: A couple of locations (I went to Washington Square Park)

I always love a good la colómbe draft latte. Their coffee is very unique and it always feels like an extra treat when I go.

Blue Bottle

Location: A couple of locations (I went to Union Square)

Blue bottle has such a special place in my heart. It was the first coffee I ever tried in San Fransisco, and ever since then it has consistently kept me happy. Their new orleans iced latte is probably my favorite drink of all time in the whole world. I also buy their cold-brew concentrate from time to time and it is just as good.
